I am planning on getting then new iPhone. I would like to get one in the afternoon on the first day, but a friend told me that I would have to wait in line 3 hours, probably. How long of a wait will it be or should I just get it the weekend (12&13th?)

im getting it on sat cause ya the line will be very long on the first day...... very very long..... i talked to a sales rep at a att store and she said that they will not run out....... so i suggest waiting till weekend.... unless u want to wait in that long line... then i say CAMP OUT

Go to an apple store or an AT&t store. Ask if you can reserve one. If they let you, go in when you want. If not, Doors open at 8, but if i were you, id arrive at 5 at least. Take your ipod or a book or something.

You could try to get it on the weekend, but you might need to shop around where you live like at At&T stores or apple stores. The iphone could be sold out.
