Default Lg Vu or apple Iphone?

So I'm just trying to figure out what phone I should get. I'm waiting until September, so I have time to think about it anyway.

My mom is getting the apple iPhone, and I had my heart set on the Lg Vu. I was SO excited. Then yesterday I realized...hey...I could get the iPhone too because it's basically the same price. I was at the mall so I played with the new iPhone. It was okay. It didn't really dazzle me but my aunt has it and swears it's just the best thing ever. I asked the At&t guy because I went there next to play with the Vu. I still like it. I don't think it feels cheap and it's smaller. He told me that the iPhone was more for people who wanted a PDA and the Vu was more like a cell phone. I'm not really into the whole mobileTV thing, so I don't know if that's the only edge the Vu has. If I don't want that, is the Vu pointless?

Texting is my thing mostly. I do that waaaay more than talk on the phone. What I love about the vu is that the keyboard can go in landscape mode AND you can still use t9 texting. I don't believe the iphone can do that.

Also, I know that the Vu supports a microSD card. I have a lot of pictures that I would like to transfer over. Does anyone know if the iPhone supports SD cards?

So really...I want to know if I'd be stupid not to get the iPhone when I have the chance to, and go with the Vu instead. I don't want to regret my decision and know that my mom has one and think that I should have done that too. I'm really bad at making sure decisions because I always second guess myself. For me, this is a really hard decision, so I would appreciate some help.

Well it seems as if you're leaning more towards the LG Vu.
I read some reviews online telling me that the LG Vu is a great phone, but the internet is not so great. It's slow and it takes forever to enter in an address. So if you're looking for a phone with great internet, stick with the iPhone.

If I were you, I would get the iPhone only because it is the same price with more features. However, I agree with the whole SD card thing. I'm not sure whether the iPhone can support that. Yet, it depends on what you're looking for. If you want a simpler phone with a few extra functions, then get the LG!

^that's the website btw

I'm also terrible at making decisions so you don't have to listen to me. I suggest reading more customer reviews. It seems like both are good phones though.
