What tool can transfer iPod/iPhone music and video to Mac?

A computer crash with hundreds of songs in iTunes disappeared. Even the computer resumes and iPod has every note on it, the music cannot be back with iTunes. I thought maybe I could find a tool to transfer music from iPod to Mac computer. Any recommendation?
