will apple know that i jailbroke my iphone 3g?

i need to get the screen fixed on my iphone 3g and am going to apple this weekend. i jailbroke my iphone recently and didnt like it much so i restored it. now my question is if i go to apple and have them fix it will they be able to find out that i jailbroke it or would they only know if it's jailbroken when they get it? thanks
