So I am going to switch to AT&T some time this week or next. My bf and I will be sharing a plan. He has already said that he wants the 3g iphone. I can't decide if I should get one too. Can someone tell me some reasons that I should or shouldn't go with the iphone. I'm also afraid that if I don't get one I will be jealous of my bf's lol. Please help me out. Thanks!

u've asked the right person I'm an iphone geek[but still good looking]The iphone 3g sucks literally I'd suggest to buy the original or buy the original used.Heres why 1st the 3g may be cheap now but will be more expensive over the years they charge u for the app store,you tube and the 3g services which u may not have coverage.Also they make u sign a contract right then and there.I'd suggest don't buy the 3g but if u must buy the original new or used.I have the original for tmobile and it works great!!!So u should switch to tmobile and just hack the iphone.If u have questions email aaron_aarsm@yahoo.com I can answer any concerns.[I have more to say but doesn't fit]

I would not get the iphone because the front is all glass, you drop it once accidentally, and you can say goodbye to your phone, if i were you i'd go after something like, a blackberry curve or somethin, much more reliable, and can be dropped up to 1000000 times and it will still work my friend has the iphone, he dropped it once and his screen cracked fully, the company doesn't want to replace it, cause its "purpose damage" and there is also no insurance on it, which is another reason why they don't want to replace it :S
