How much is it to upgrade to the Apple iPhone 3g for a current ATT customer?

If I am a current ATT customer and I want to upgrade to the Apple iPhone 3g, how much will it cost for me monthly to have this particular phone? I already have unlimited texting and a minute plan on my account. Are these included as part of the iPhone's plan or do I have to pay extra for them to be on that particular phone? And do I have to have the data package for smart phones? All in all, i need to know what I have to pay for other than the phone itself. (extras and plans)
