Default I just bought an iphone and its activated but when i plug it into to my mac...

...nothing happens...nothing? I have the latest version of mac and itunes and its all acivated and works just fine but when i plug it in nothing happens- no window in itunes; it doesnt even charge...

help!

no power, no connect = no usb 2 connection or a broken iPhone.

If you are sure you connected it to a usb 2.0 port and it doesn't work.. run, don't walk to an apple store!

Even if you bought it at at&t (we bought there).

My first iPhone had charging and battery problems... my current phone doesn't like running through a non-powered usb hub or one of the USB 1.0 ports.

When I plug it directly in to a USB 2.0 port on the computer it works fine.
