Default If I buy an Apple Iphone From U.S. and use in India, will it work or not? The...

...Phone is not yet launched here.? I want to buy Apple iphone, but I'm not sure whether it will work here in India or not. Need your suggestions Guys ?

Yes, It will still work as long as AT&T is an available service provider in India.

I live in Vancouver and I can go pick up an iPhone right now if I wanted to. It's not released under Rogers (wireless carrier) but it could be unlocked. If it can't, why would they sell it? Just replace the SIM card, but get it unlocked.
