Does iPhone support Word and Excel files?

hey there, no sorry it doesnt support them. I dont see anything cool about the iphone, i currently have a palm treo 700wx and put a 8gb sd card in there and now its the same thing as an ipod, but tmy treo has microsoft word, office, excel , windows media player and other goodies.

not only reading word and excel, you can update and save them using google docs!
