As long as you have GSM service then you can use any unlocked phone. The only problem is with connecting to the Internet or sending multimedia messages. You will need to find out Metro PCS server addresses and change that information on the PDA itself. I have a few unlocked phones and I have been using them for my T-Mobile Service for a while.
