Default has anyone else had cell phones that stop working after a year and still...

...had to pay for service? My cell phone was only under warranty for a year but my service plan was for two years. I do not think it is fair and I cancel my service plan and they want me to pay $200 a piece for 2 phones plus a month that I wasn't even getting service. I think they are ripping us off. They wanted me to buy a new phone which would have cost over 150 dollars.

Most people have phones that last for YEARS: the early demise of yours is far more likely to have been because of how you treated it, so why should they pay for that? Cell phones are like pocket calculators, their manufacturing quality is close to perfect. So if one you had died, it's because YOU KILLED IT!

You should feel terrible! Poor little phone!
