3g technology in mobile phones, it is increase speed of browsing in GPRS service.?

i m using in dial-up connection in gprs service. it is process speed 28 to 38 kbps. my mobile have class 10 in gprs, no 3G.

3G use to increase the speed when i use the gprs connection.
Sony Ericsson's k530i have 3g(386kbps)
