Where can I buy cell phones in canada that are not available from service providers?

I live in Canada and want to buy some of the newer cell phone models that the service providers are not yet advertising. I'm particulary interested in both Sony Ericsson and Nokia models that are available in other parts of the world (Europe, Asia) and not in Canada.
