I need a new cell phone, what service do you recommend?

I've been looking at verizon/nextel, att/cingular, virgin mobile, and t mobile. I want a basic phone thats durable and gets good reception, and I want the best rates for only about 50-150 min per month. Would you recommend prepaid?

tmobile cuz when the block out happend in new york no 1 else had service only tmobilw and cingular a lil

Alltel is awesome.
I woujld not recommend prepaid.
