i am ging over seas for about 3 months.i am on a family plan and im wondering if there is a way to place a hold on the phone number so i wint have to pay the bill the the 3 months im not using the phone... i have sprint and i called them and thy told me that it will cost me half the price of my bill to place the number on hold. tht is the cheapest they offered me....

is there any other way to keep the number, and not pay for the 3 months im not in the states??? im leaving bc of a family emergency, and i have no problem with using and paying for service when i get back...

help!
