Default If you get a cell phone from another company "flashed to Cricket service...?

Can you still text, send/receive picture mail, and use mobile web on a "flashed" phone?

Someone told me when you get a used, refurbished, flashed, etc. cell phone activated to use with Cricket service these features don't work. Is that true? And if it is, why does it do that?

Thanks. :]

You can use it for what you want to use it for. All you will need to do is get in touch with your network provider and ask them to send you the MMS/GPRS settings for the phone. It's all easily done as it is done via text message.

Refurbished phones are basically factory restored. They don't have the settings prestored on them, which is why you need to ask your network provider to send them to you after you purchase the phone.
