Leaving Sprint is probably a good choice. Sprint is considered the CDMA equivalent of T-Mobile, which is GSM. This means if you leave Sprint, you want to stay away from T-Mobile since it may seem like you never left Sprint. Sprint and T-Mobile rely on other carriers (Verizon for Sprint and AT&T for T-Mobile) to provide their roaming coverage. No matter how good the wireless network is, when roaming, it is always of a lesser quality. I would choose Verizon Wireless since the CDMA call quality is much better. Also, they have the largest wireless network.
They provide America's Award winning network. It is available where most networks aren't. After the purchase of Alltel is complete, Verizon will cover the US without any roaming or extended network. Every other carrier requires roaming (even if it's free). Verizon will also have 80 million customers! They also have award winning customer service.
