I call fairly frequently and text extremely often, but I don't need all the other bells and whistles (the e-mail, internet, pictures, etc.).

At the moment I mostly call 4 or 5 people, but I anticipate that changing, so a plan with ultra-low rates for calling 4 or 5 people probably wouldn't be best.

So, basically, need an individual plan with a decent number of minutes, unlimited or near-unlimited texting, and nothing else.

Who would be the best carrier to look into? I looked into Verizon, but their individual plans didn't look very cost-effective.
Apparently where I live also matters... I just checked AllTel, and they say they have no service in Atlanta. Weird.

So yes, add 'works in Atlanta' to the requirements.
