Post Motorola H690 Bluetooth Headset

The Motorola H690 Bluetooth Headset was unveiled just a couple of months back, in April 2008. It is a successor to the Motorola H680 from last year. Featuring dual-microphones and Digital Signal Processing, it has a talk time of 5.5 hours and weighs a mere 12g (4 oz.). It comes with noise-reduction technology, echo cancellation and dual-microphones. By using two microphones, motorola h690 headset insures the identification and reduction of background noise hence making it simple to hold a conversation even in a noisy environment.

It comes with Motorola’s unique EasyPair technology making the H690 compatible with over 200 Bluetooth-enabled devices including non-Motorola handsets. Those of you not in the know-how, EasyPair are Motorola's way of making it easier to connect a Bluetooth accessory to a Bluetooth phone by using simplified steps. The wireless range is up to 10m (30 ft). For a quick battery check, the LED shines green, yellow or red. Standby battery time is up to eight (8) hours. Motorola proudly highlights its TrueComfort design which it states is the outcome of a two-years exhaustive research on the human ear hence delivering ease and stability, a quality somewhat lacking in most Bluetooth headsets. To further personalize the experience, the headset makes use of with several ear cushions providing a snug fit. The h690 bluetooth headset also offers voice dialing. Although it looks almost the same as H680 yet the new features that Motorola boasts of, makes it a different experience altogether.

Though it looks like most motorola bluetooth headset yet Motorola insists that due to its dual microphones that presents a noise reducing and echo canceling technology, TrueComfort ear bud design, intelligent volume control and EasyPair technology, it has much more to offer. The motorola h690 bluetooth headset became available to customers in the second (2nd) quarter of 2008.
