Kyocera Strobe external antenna?!?!?

I took the back off of my Kyocera Strobe and I saw not one, but TWO suspicious looking holes! as I brought the phone into the light and peered inside I saw again not one, but TWO suspicious looking plug-ins! Are these for an external antenna, or something else?
