Default Is the (Virgin Mobile)Kyocera Marbl unlocked or locked?
Unlocked meaning it can be used for any carrier or locked meaning only Virgin Mobile?

I'm pretty sure it is locked onto that company and you can't switch the carrier from Virgin Mobile to something else.

It's locked onto Virgin Mobile. If the phones come directly from the company, it's usually locked onto that company.
