One of the buttons on my palm treo 680 just suddenly stop working.... help?

On my Treo 680, when I hit the phone button (The button with the picture of the phone, next to the calendar button) nothing comes up when i press it. it was just working this morning and all of a sudden nothing happens....can someone please help?
