Does having a blackberry mean your monthly bill goes up because you'll be using email etc on it or does it stay fairly the same as any other phone you may have?

You tend to use the functions of the Blackberry more than a regular cellphone, so yes, your bill will go up.

I have a Motorola Q for personal and a Blackberry for work use. I don't know how much the Blackberry is....work pays for it, but my Q is about $80 a month at least, twice it has been in the $500 range.

i suggest you go talk to your local sales rep about this.. with it being a data phone yes it will be more than just a regular cell. my bro got one and hes paying about 250 a month on his but that is including a long distance plan... check with your local as i said and ask them all the questions they will be sure to tell you the right answers better yet call the provider you have and talk to them some sales reps dont know all the answers when they think they do...

I have 2 blackberries, and pay $130/mo to AT&T for everything(full email and full internet plus GPS on one). Previously, I was paying almost $160/mo to Verizon for 2 "regular" cell phones that had no EMail/internet access at all.
