i have a black samsung u740 dual hinge phone. sometimes when i flip it from one way to another it freezes

ex. i have it fliped like a flip phone then i flip it to the way to text message the screen on the flip part goes to the texting screen

i have insurance is it worth getting fixed or is it normal?

yea if you have insuarance on the phone or if it breaks within your warranty you should just get a new one. The phone shouldn't be doing that because my friend has one and his is fine.
