Default can i unlock a cingular phone to use with verizon? PLEASE HELP!?

i have verizon, and i really want a new phone but can't get one with verizon until october. my friend has a razr that she has never used and will give me but i want to know if there is any way i can unlock it to use with verizon and how much it might cost me. if you have any suggestions please please help!!!

Sorry !!! u can't use cingular phones to work a verizon, Cingular uses GSM the ones with the cards and CDMA which is verizon.
