Is it possible to switch a samsung a670 cellphone from metro pcs service to cingular?

i have an a670 that i havent used for some time now which was under a metro pcs contract. i was wondering since i wanted to try a different provider ( cingular ), that i'd be able to to use that same phone .thanks for your help
