Will my AT&T/Cingular sim card work in any AT&T/Cingular phone?

I have the Samsung BlackJack II from AT&T and my boyfriend has the Blackberry Curve from AT&T. We thought we would switch phones with each other since we both like the other persons phone better...can we just switch out our sim cards or are there other steps we need to take? Thanks!
