i used to have a chocolate phone now i have lg shine. can i use the soft wear for my lg chocolate to the lg shine or do i have to by a cd so it can connect to the computer. because i m having problems connecting my phone to the computer

No, sorry. You need to get the software for the LG Shine if it didn't already come with your phone. The Chocolate software is completely different and won't work.
