Should I wait until February to upgrade my phone to Metro or upgrade my...

...current Cingular Phone? I have a two-year contract with Cingular right now and it ends on October 28th. Should I upgrade it in October and do another 2-year contract or switch to Metro in February? I am a texting-a-lot person[lol]. I went $90 over my limit last month. :]]
