I know this has probablly been posted before, so I apologize ahead of time. I am so frustrated with trying to text my friends in England and in Spain. My friend in the UK can text me, but when I try to text back, they do not receive it. I have tried every way imaginable. I have typed in 011 and +44 fro the country code. I have also tried to just dial the number, which is what the alltel representative told me to do... that didn't sound right at all... but I tried it with anyways, with no success. My friend in England told me to dial it like this... +44(then his number) and drop the 0 at the beginning of his number. I have tried this as well. I have heard that the companies have to have a roaming agreement, so I thought that may be the problem. But if that were the case, he wouldn't be able to text me, would he? I'm so confused and very aggravated. I would like to be able to text, as it's cheaper than phone calls to keep in touch. Someone help me!!! Thank you for any input...
