...about a month ago? I am wanting to prove that about a month ago, my texts to my niece were decent cause she's trying to accuse me of having a crush on her, and I am by no means that type of person. How can I get copies to prove my case?

I would suggest calling customer service and asking them. You dont need an excuse as to why you need the messages.
