Will an unlocked Alltel phone work with Cellular South?

I am looking at purchasing a used blackberry and it is a CDMA phone and it is unlocked. I just want to know if this phone will work with the cellular south network. If so what do I have to do to get it activated? I already have a phone with cellular south. Would I just be able to call to get my number transferred to this phone?
