Selling cell phones at alltell or sell cars at Toyota?
I been set up for 2 interviews next week. Toyota called me already and I spoke with the general manger and he wants me to come and speak with someone. ....I hope that's a good sign (telling me when when I can start training). I also have a interview with Alltel wireless being a sales consultant. I'm a people person, honest, good personality and I have sales experience being a server in a restaurant. I'm generally a nice person but I'm at a time when I need to make money fast and I'm willing to do what I have to do to keep the roof over my head. I hear the business is cut-throat but very rewarding. I have a lot of debt I need to pay off, and bills, and sadly I don't even have a car (I'm taking the bus to get around) .Toyota says they pay salary the first like 2 months but after that I'm on my own. Does it seem like the right move to get into the car salesmen business? Or smarter to try to sell cell phones? At least they pay hourly+ commission (I'm in Venice,Florida.)
