Default What is going to happen to Amp'd Mobile Canada?

I am currently subscribed to this service and I know that they are shutting down their US operations on the 31st and auctioning off everything (incl. the Canadian business), I don't want to move to whoever buys their service so is their a way I can get out of paying the fee for termination? I ask this because it seems like their should be some sort of loophole that will let us out since we signed up with Amp'd and not another company, I remember that Cingular customers got to leave their contracts when AT&T bought BellSouth.

Any sort of clarification would be much appreciated.
