Ampd Mobile?

I spent 200 dollars on a Fire Red MotoRazr about two months ago when signing up for amp'd mobile's pay-as-you go plan. They recently went bankrupt as rumor has it and my phone can't send or receive calls. How can i transfer my number to another prepay/pay-as-you go account AND is is possible to keep my existing phone?
