Question about my phone activation with Bell mobility?

I just ordered a phone and signed a 3 year contract with bell mobility and forgot to ask the representative if the phone will be fully activated when I receive it in the mail.. Does anyone know? Do i have to call back and activate it or something or will my new number already be programmed into the phone?
