I have a boost mobile phone it doesn't work ?

I had a boost phone (i835), it doesn't work now, my guess is b/c i didn't use it for like about 3 months.. i want to use the same phone again, do you think if i change the sim card, will the phone work again ?? ...Thanx 4 ur answers
