Boost Mobile in Las Vegas NEW MEXICO will work?

Some say that boost mobile is the same as Nextel. Nextel (also Sprint) works in Las Vegas, NM so will boost mobile work too?

Because the map of NM at boost mobile website is kinda like cut out lil bit and it doesnt show my town there, which would be just lil bit to the right of that map.
