What Data Network does boost mobile use?

Does boost mobile use edge, 3g, or gprs as a data network?

I'm looking to use an Iphone on boostmobile and i was told it might have to run on one of those networks in order to work.

Will I be able to do this after jailbreaking the Iphone?
